Oxford 4th of July Festival
The only 3 day celebration in the area
Concluding with the best Fireworks Show
1st Saturday of July
This event is put on by the Oxford Fire Department and the Oxford Lions Club. Every year we try to improve the festival to make it more entertaining for everyone that attends. Come one day or all 3 days to help support our organizations. As always the best fireworks show in the area ends the festival on Saturday night at 10pm

Men's Softball tournament

Kids Events
Bike Parade Have your child decorate their bike for the the 4th of July and participate in the bike parade. It starts behind the Oxford Library at 9am Saturday morning and ends at the Oxford Park. Parents are welcome to walk along with the kids.
Junior Olympics If your child wants to try to win an award for their age group. Stop down by the flag pole outside the ball diamond to sign up at 1030am. Events start once everyone makes it through registration. Multiple run, jump, and throwing events to participate in.
Carnival Starts Friday 6pm to 10pm and Saturday 1200pm to 10pm
Food stand opens and closes with the softball games.

Weather Concerns
Events try to do their best to continue in the event of rain. If a thunder storm starts or heavy rains events will temporary stop then restart once the threat has moved through,
In regards to the fireworks if we have an opening from 930pm to 1030pm Saturday night the show will go on. Every effort will be made to get the show done Saturday night. If it is raining throughout this time the fireworks will be rescheduled for Sunday July 6th at 10pm
